Carry on off the chart

Paul picked me up from mum’s a little before 4pm, so for the first time in a long time, we thought we’d listen to the top 40 on the way home. We got as far as number 34, which was NKOTB. New? Kids? Hardly. Much better was the news that Flobots had entered the charts at no 35. Phil pointed it out first back in July or August – but Paul hadn’t heard it before. “It’s like rap metal,” he said. I didn’t think that it was as good this time as when I’d heard it the first time.
